Trace Laboratories was formed in 1980 with the aim of providing a specialist service in trace metal and other associated assays.

Continuing development has ensured that a wide range of analytical techniques is now available, including atomic absorption spectroscopy, gas-liquid and high pressure liquid chromatographies.

This makes it possible to carry out a comprehensive range of assays in the field of trace metal and organic analyses.

Our service provides for all sectors of the health care industry, including the National Health Service, private practice, occupational health services and H.S.E appointed factory medical officers.

The major proportion of our work is carried out on behalf of the occupational health monitoring sector.

The founding partners of Trace Labs, were both Health Service trained in Clinical Chemistry. Later they specialised in toxicology and further into occupational health monitoring. All aspects of the services Trace Laboratories offer, from the collection of samples, to methods of reporting, can be discussed and tailored to the individual clients requirements.
