Blood and urine solvent test from trace laboratories

Organic Analyses

Solvents Testing

The following solvents can be analysed in blood and urine:

Benzene, Butyl Acetate, Carbontetrachloride, Chloroform, Cyclohexane, Cyclohexanone, Dichloromethane, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Toluene, 1,1,1 Trichloroethane and Xylene.
A screening method for Ethanol is offered (not suitable for medico-legal purposes)
Requests for other solvents can be considered.

The following metabolites are routinely assayed to indicate exposure to the appropriate parent compound.
